2009, The Year of the Next DLP
Wow, what a start to the year.
First, we were named by Network World Computing to their “10 IT Security Companies To Watch" at the tail end of last year.
Then we just returned from picking up Frost & Sullivan's Award for Excellence in Award for Network Security Infrastructure Protection Excellence in Technology in San Antonio. This was a great honor as the independent award recognized us for "strategic innovation in information security."
Achyuthanandan Sampath, Research Analyst, Frost & Sullivan said...
"..selected for developing a path-breaking semantic intelligence-based Data Leak Prevention (DLP) technology that is capable of comprehensively monitoring and blocking unauthorized access to business-sensitive data in transmission . . . with its innovative approach to DLP, the Silicon Valley-based startup has helped ignite a new-era in DLP technologies that require little to no human intervention to secure data. nexTier’s technology has also arrived at a critical juncture when DLP is gaining credence in enterprises and IT administrators are looking for new and better approaches to secure data leaks.”

Stay tuned to this site as we follow our customer deployments, and how DLP is being used all over the globe and how come we’ve been so quiet :-)
